A New Jersey artist and jeweler, Melissa creates each design herself from start to finish, hand-carving or hand-building her pieces with incredible attention to detail. Her work is created with longevity in mind: jewelry meant to be worn, loved and eventually passed down.
The Do No Harm Necklace features a gentle moth, chosen as a symbol of vulnerability, with a little bit of Melissa’s signature irreverence hidden on the reverse: “Do no harm but, take no shit.” It’s meaningful without feeling overly precious—a personal talisman that still looks incredibly cool worn every day. The pendant is available on an 18" gold-filled diamond-cut cable chain.

Care
Melissa works extensively in brass for its beauty, strength and longevity. Brass naturally darkens with wear and can be restored with a brief polish using a jewelry polishing cloth. Melissa notes that her gold-filled chains do not require polishing.
